This book is an ongoing battle between a girl and her path to the life she always dreamed of. Hazel stone had always wanted to be a part of the PLD's the most exclusive group of girls in the school. Caught up in a series of unexpected events Hazel finds herself becoming best friends with the PLD's, she was thrilled. Little does Hazel know her new found fame would come with serious consequences. She will soon find that the baby-sitting and the all night soirees would turn to nasty prank calls and life threatening events, jealousy is the deadliest trait.
Review:
I loved this book. It was amazing! It starts off as a simple story about a c-lister trying to make it to the big time. It is truly a page turner; it was really hard to put it down. Anyone that has ever been in high school can relate to the decisions Hazel has to make on leaving her friends to rise to the top of the a-list. Yet, it is not just your everyday high school love story, it incorporates suspense, and horror, and mystery, it is intense. Then the ending will blow your mind it is impossible to see coming. I totally recommend this book to every high school girl there is out there. You'll love it!

Natasha and Antonio were madly in love, teenagers. This took place is Harlem in 1990 and times were way different than they are now especially with technology. Over the course of 9 years almost 10, Antonio was in Prison and they would write letters back and fourth talking about the struggles in life. The struggles of death, being apart, and events that are harder to fix when he's in the pin. He murdered his father so its hard for anyone to trust him, even Natasha at times. The book goes over the times they have had before he was there and its such an extraordinary story that everyone should read, if they are mature for sexual content.
Review:
I love drama and real life stories. They catch your eyes and make you not want to stop reading, thats why this book was seat-moving and thrilling. They talk with slang and make you feel like your actually in the story. It made me cry, laugh, get angry, and feel sympathetic. Any book that can make you stay up all night after a long day of school and still want to read it til you have to get up for the next day must be a great book. I feel the story was moving and it made me see what some people went through at that time period and how they handled it before I was born.

He pushes Halley to have sex but she refuses. Then pregnant Scarlett becomes friends with a super nerd Cameron. On prom night Scarlett goes into labor but now it shows how everyone had to grow up , even if they didn't want to.

After a one , one night stand , Scarlett loses her love Michael the next day but is left with a piece of his heart by becoming inpregnanted with his child. If you like adventurous books you would probably like this book. It is about traveling and living in a new town for the summer during a war. It’s about meeting new people and discovering who you really are. You discover new land and untold secrets. There are parts in the book that you would expect what happens but there are things in it that you wouldn’t expect to happen. It talks about having to paint light houses and if you have your lights on at night you have to have your blinds covering them so ships can't see them.
Review:
The book is boring at the beginning but when you keep reading it becomes adventurous. Parts of it can get confusing but if you keep reading it will start making more since to you. If you like to read books about war you would probably like it, even though it doesn’t talk much about war in the beginning of the war but towards the middle it starts to more. It describes how living not being able to see or talk to your family can feel.

I think that this book is for teens and up. If you are older than 10, then all ages will love this book. It's about your two typical girls, best friends. Annemarie must do whatever she can to protect her best friend, Ellen Rosen, a Jew. Ellen's parents leave to protect Ellen, and ask the Johansens to let Ellen stay with them. Annemarie and her family of course say yes, and the adventure began. In the end, Peter risks his life, being discovered by the Nazis and remembered on the night that his girlfriend, Lise, and him escaped. The Nazis remembered them, and realized that Peter wasn't killed that night. In the very end, everything is almost happy. No one knew when the Rosens would return, but they were safe - escaped. I thought it was a great way to end the book, knowing that everyone was safe. The letter of Peter written on the night before he would die was the saddest and most depressing. A story of true friendship. I read this in 6th grade and thought it was great. It's really awesome for using to teach children of literature in English class. It's a great book that will keep young children interested, even if they are in middle school / high school. A great educational value as well.
